Is anybody familiar with this 1980s mid-tempo punk/metal group?

All I could find on internet is this: http://homepages.nyu.edu/~cch223/usa/lifesentence_main.html

I remember their lawsuit-baiting logo, but that's about it.

I saw them once, around 1985 or '86, the peak of my hardcore years, and I thought they were pretty shitty. They were big on pushing their T-shirts, and that's my strongest memory from seeing them.

I second Baked Bean Teeth's sentiments. They were your average, garden variety Chicago punk band. I think someone in the band may have had a brother in another, more popular Chicago punk band.

I seem to recall Baked Bean Teeth wearing a 'home made' , " I heart Life Sentence" hoodie at A Naked Raygun show circa 1985.

He had the hood UP too.

I like 'em.
These days, Joe from Life Sentence is a Goblin and owns HiFi Records in Chicago.

Well, they were better than Lost Cause, at any rate.
