Canvassing opinion for a UK Number One Singles poll...

So, with the 1000th UK Number One imminent, would there be any enthusiasm for a quick "Favourite UK Number One Singles" poll, or are you feeling all polled-out?

Suggested method:

1. I supply the list (as a text file on my server space), in alphabetical order by song title.

2. You mail me your top 50, in order. It can be less than 50 if you so wish.

3. I score them with 50 for #1, 49 for #2 etc.

4. A quick deadline, so that the poll is published while the 1000th Number One is still Number One.

5. I post the Top 100, again fairly quickly. No need for accompanying blurbs and all that; after all, these are all well-known quantities.
