Sadly everything kinda shuts down in this town at 2am... unless there's a planned after party. who knows.

Minuses for ECC / Pluses for Derrick May:
* Never seen Derrick May DJ or perform before
* I've already seen ECC and the Branflakes play before. if ECC is still doing the Thimbletron thing, it will be a repeat of what I saw in Olympia four years ago. Also, not too keen on the "cohort" guy in the show.
* Jerry Abstract is an excellent DJ

Pluses for ECC / Minuses for Derrick May:
* ECC is fun to bring friends to see, even if you've seen him/them before.
* May may cancel again, as Dave pointed out. (He was supposed to play in October and cancelled and had to reschedule.)

Also, I've heard May's been playing the same DJ set since 1991. Though that may be an exaggeration, I have a feeling he won't be busting out too many brand spankin' new dubplates (if he indeed makes it to Seattle).

Seksu Roba have a robot onstage with a giant gyrating penis. And they're camp as fuck. Sold?

How's Derrick May sets these days? Worth seeing or not? He's coming into my country next month but the price is pretty steep plus the transportation fee so I have some doubts..
