actually, a sri lankan friend of mine (who's obsessed w/mia's music, but hates her politix) and I have been talking about making some serious booty music together (not a euphemism for anything). This same friend awesomely enough is friends with diplo, so if we do it, and it's any good, we've got the hookup.

i don't really know many. I don't go to bars much either. Everyone I know that likes MIA was introduced to her by me. My friend B4ron, who works at the mushroom, first exposed me to daft punk. He likes some good stuff. But yeah, I've yet to meet many people who can appreciate both good pop music and obscure off the wall stuff. It's always one or the other.

ah ha .. nice to see someone else gets sucker punched by the ILM pressure (ie richard x/mia love) - tis a fine fine track .. and was definitley on my wishlist on monday morning when i read about it ..
and its indeed ace ..
