wtf are you people talking about, Brent Smith, vocals for shinedown, is AMAZING. compared to any other rock bands now he can REALLY sing. Open your minds a little and just because its a LS song doesn't mean it can't be re-done and still be good.

btw this version is indeed dogshit and there's this local karaoke singer guy (who is also in a band) who does it and he is of the Idol histrionic variety so of course he does it this way cos after all what we really want when we hear a song like this is vocal acrobatics, by the time it's done everybody's cheering and he's moussing his soul patch and idgi

I have only vaguely heard of Shinedown, and yet here they are playing at the local college basketball arena, which seats like 18,000 people. This whole world of "mainstream rock" in the 2020s is just foreign territory to me, but I guess it has a good-sized audience.
