I've recently gotten the urge to start buying singles (partly due to my recently acquired habit of reading ILM). A quick trip to my local Tower Records, however, showed me that the majority of them were 1) imports and 2) cost around $8. I also checked Amazon and found the same to be true there. I'm assuming the pricing at Virgin, the other mega-music store near me, will be similar, and independent stores never seem to carry many singles. Where in New York or online can I find a good selection of inexpensive singles?
