One of our party has pulled out so we've got a spare ticket and bed going. He's got a paypal account if that helps. If you know anyone who might be interested and doesn't mind sharing a chalet with some drunken but nice Scottish guys and one cute girl email me.

I can't believe most of the shows in the US haven't sold out yet. Do people in the states not care about them or what?

een america, although the streets are paved with gold, we are broke.

Alex in NYC, this is destiny. This is when you are over for Killing Joke anyway.

my mate sean could be well up for this. i'll let you know ASAP. he is a thoroughly top chap (and very hygenic, which is important in those chalets).

Sweet. We had somebody on the Plan B Forum looking for two, so get in there while the iron's hot and all that...

stew, Thursday, 3 February 2005 15:14 (twenty years ago)

"how much do you want for it?" he says.

grimly fiendish (grimlord), Thursday, 3 February 2005 15:21 (twenty years ago)

Just face value and booking fee - £125. Email me and I'll sort you out with Mark's email address.
Somebody else bought the ticket - we're not all going down at the same time so the plan is to meet in London on the Friday and get the train down to Hastings. Alternatively, we can always arrange to meet your pal at ATP.

stew, Thursday, 3 February 2005 15:25 (twenty years ago)

Just to clarify by saying somebody else bought the ticket I meant he did the booking, so he's got everyone's tickets and the chalet booked.
Realised it looked like I was saying the spare was gone.

no, that makes sense. i'll pass all this on to sean and he'll be in touch. thanks stew. i'll stand you a pint or two in the good ol' queen vic at the end of the month!

grimly fiendish (grimlord), Thursday, 3 February 2005 15:45 (twenty years ago)

Great. Mark will be pleased. He needs the money to go to Norway for his birthday.

ATP is going to be a blast. See you there!

stew, Thursday, 3 February 2005 15:46 (twenty years ago)

Er, any word from your pal yet, Mr Fiendish?

stew, Friday, 4 February 2005 12:01 (twenty years ago)

he's up to his eyes in deadline hell at the moment and looked at me with horror as i approached ... he apologises and says he'll be in touch tonight or tomorrow.

i appreciate this isn't ideal for you: if there are other interested parties, don't be putting them off for our sake!

Is everyone going to ATP this year from Scotland?

alext (alext), Friday, 4 February 2005 13:28 (twenty years ago)

aye, y'bam, we are. and don't go thinking that ginger hair will save you from a good beating. we know all about you and your english vodka-drinking ways. etc.

big jock mcfiendish (grimlord), Friday, 4 February 2005 13:35 (twenty years ago)

No, we've got an Englishman in our chalet.

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Friday, 4 February 2005 13:35 (twenty years ago)

heh. despite the fact we're coming from scotland, 80% of us are (whisper) english. the only scotsman in the party is, er, our friend who's joining us from london.

grimly fiendish (grimlord), Friday, 4 February 2005 13:38 (twenty years ago)

And he's a septic by temperament, TBH.
