CWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I never heared it. If "Cut" is 100%, what rate is this one?

Oh, and "New" Slits album? is this something else?

I rate it better than Cut. There are some wonderful complex rhythms & spooky melodies on there. Verging on Odyshape kinda territory, but more bold and upfront.

I just woke up, but I don't see where that article says "Return of..." is being re-released. But AMG says it was re-issued last year by Sony International.

According to Forced Exposure, who carry it, it was a Japanese-only reissue.

The Peel sessions record is where (Sl)it's at.

They're not gonna get naked on the cover this time, are they?
On a related note, I just read the RS article, which says that Ari Up was only 14 when the band formed in 1976. Cut came out in 1979; does that mean we've unknowingly been looking at child porn all these years?

more like EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH to me. i booked an ari up show a few years ago that was possibly one of the worst things ive ever booked. that woman possesses the unique ability to clear the room of fans.

The Slits weren't naked on the cover of Cut, they were covered in mud.

Er, and wearing loin cloths too, just so people who haven't seen the cover don't get the wrong idea.

"a Japanese-only reissue."

Maybe none of the releases on CBS are part of this series. Amazon.ca has that Japanese re-issue for $35. Hmmm...

I have owned both "Cut" and "Return of..." since they were originally released. In those years I've played the first one hundreds of times, the second only a handful. The songs are longer, looser and more caterwauling than those on "Cut."

heh i was listening to "cut" last night, thinking bout the slits.
