heard some good things about them, & the few snippets I've managed to hear on the 'net have been fun. nothing on slsk (haha anyone want to help out w/gmail?) - is Fashionista Super Dance Troupe any good?

I really like them. It's a type of music I hardly ever listen to nowadays, but they have some kind of, um, x-factor they used to call it, and a very sharp sense of humour. Also they remind me of Red Monkey a bit, whom I love. Can't do the gmail thing unfortunately but I think if you liked anything you'd heard you'd like everything, if you get me

I saw them live, they were OK, but It feel like I needed to be 10 years younger to really enjoy them. Less good on record, so catch them live. I did find the album on Soulseek, by keeping it on my wishlist for a few weeks, but I was running out of sapce a while ago and I 'm afraid it got culled.

I think they're playing this week in Brighton if you live quite near.

I have stuff on Slsk - container_drivers is my username. Not managed to hear it yet, though, as my boyfriend broke my speakers and I have no CD-Rs. Certainly didn't expect them to sound like Red Monkey, though, from what I've seen about them. Hmmm.
