Electro-Donna with Arthur Baker (And, um, Daryl Hall) -vs- Disco-Donna with Chic. I know you all are gonna just side with your best friends Nile & Bernard so I'm gonna go with "Swept Away" so that it feels like it has a pal. But it is great! Especially the long 12-inch version.

Surely you mean dIANa not dONNa? I'm with you on the choice though, the extended disco mix of 'Swept Away' is unbeatable. And the Carol Cool cover of 'Upside Down' pips Ross too.

(And hey, stick some Teen Dream tracks on Ssk, I got one 'Lets get busy' and it's awesome).

"Swept Away" is great for the end edit when Daryl comes in more to the fore (no 'um' about it! the man's great!). "Upside Down," though, that's just so damn sleek.

oops, what the fuck was i thinking? weird. well, yeah, hahaha, diana. actually i guess it's pretty easy to figure out what i was thinking.

"Upside Down," no question. "Swept Away" has always reminded me of a song you'd play over the end credits of an '80s comedy. I prefer "Mirror Mirror" (worthy of Donna Summer) and "Chain Reaction," even "Muscles."

i'm sorry, affectian, i'm really lo-fi. i will let you know when i join the 21st century. slsk confuses me like an old man watching the simpsons. i just need to get a cd burner that works. i wanna get a lot of my vinyl on cd.

bah, get with it granpa and unleash the freestyle.

another reason why 'swept away' wins is that the disco mix makes use of that ace/silly cd skipping effect in a way that makes me want to punch the air with glee.

really cannot see the '80s comedy' feel, surely you mean '80s yuppie soap opera with helicopters, palm trees and hairspray'?

You, sir, are a big man.

"Muscles" was great, as was "Eaten Alive" too. She should have worked more with Michael Jackson.

Apparently she did, but libel laws preclude etc.
