Furthur & Bit Torrent: What should I download?

Live shows are fast becoming my preferred sound. I'm not sure why, but it might be only for blues / jazz music. I think a live boot of Pavement would probably suck. When I saw them live they were sloppy, but it was Lollapalooza and they're probably more of a club band than stadium show. I see Sonic Youth on Furthur and wonder if I need to hear that live. I've seen them live and they play great, but I don't know if it preferable to the canned stuff.

I have noticed any free downloadable Phish show from 1988 - 1993 (especially 1991) are far superior to anything else they've ever relesed, including studio albums and the whole LIVE SERIES. I was listening to one this morning that made me want to blow my load in my pants. They used to rip shit up and really rock! Some of their best songs they hardly ever played for some reason.

Blues and jazz jams; what to download?

i heard a phil and friends show from december w/ chris robinson singing which was really good, and i'm not a fan of anyone involved. it was mostly jerry songs and a black crowes song or two. good guitarist, pedal steel, chick singers, horns--it was well-arranged, bopped right along, and chris robinson didn't make me sick.

sonic youth have been worthwhile live every time i've seen them.
