haven't listened to all of them yet but some pretty amazing stuff!!

The last of those is an Andy Votel compiled LP of dark/acid folk obscurities from the early 70s. It takes off from where the first part of disc 2 of Saint Etienne's "The Trip" left off. It's patchy, to be honest, but with Linda Perhacs, Wendy & Bonnie and The Poppy Family all featuring, I'm certainly not complaining.

Warners/Rhino compilations including:Hallucinations and Come To The Sunshine (both comps of late '60s US pop-psych 45s, both delicious)
I want Come To The Sunshine but because it's a Rhino Handmade thing it's on the expensive side - HMV wanted £25 or something of that order for it!!

Azita, 'Life On the Fly' - really solid.

I don't like either album, to be honest. Bought both after I went to store specifically to get Devotchka, of which there was none, figured i'd get these instead ("rebound" purchasing is BAD news, never ever do this)...and am now dismayed by my lack of taste. Especially where Postal Service is concerned. I think I'm the last person to find out how annoying this album really is. It just makes me angry. ENOUGH WITH THE BEEPING!
