following the excellent single i managed to get to hear the album today. its gorgeous. mercury rev influence runs through the sonics of course, but without the stuff i find annoying (JD's vocals basically), so has anyone stateside fallen under this bands spell yet ?

Purchased it back in March and it still hasn't quite taken hold. "Linus" and "Glass Walls" are the standout tracks for me but it doesn't quite develop the weightless sparkle that good orch pop can achieve. I agree the vocals are a good part of the problem, but they're still miles better than Smile.

four months pass...
today it's all about this bands cover of ELO's 'cant get it out of my head'. tis a perfect few minutes in so many ways.

i've heard that this will appear on the bands myspace page.

two years pass...

gosh. only me and a couple of others giving this band some love back in 2005.
wonder with the new album in 2007 if things will change ..
seems to be a little more focused, but effectively, the new album is easily a case of if it aint broke ..
