Baseballin' rappers

I know Buck 65 was scouted by the Yankees and Diverse, the Chi-town rapper, played college baseball. Are there any other baseball playing rappers I should know about? Lots of basketballers but baseballers?

Sweet. Any info on what they both rapped/played?

MC Hammer was an obscure Oakland rapper/producer....He's best known for producing records for Ace Juice and Oaktown 357.....he was a bat boy for the A's, and got his name for his resemblence to "Hammerin'" Hank Aaron.

According to this Magnet article I found online, he was a 3 sport athlete star in HS (baseball, B-ball, and football)...but he's known for throwing a NO-HITTER at Wright State - the first in school history, according to indie rock lore.

I think Weiland and Neil were more HS jocks...

interesting about pollard. i wonder if he tripped up the batters by subjecting to them to tirades about superchunk and pavement and his wife between pitches. i'm a fucking pitcher. fucking stephen malkmus is a fucking belly itcher. strike two!

Crooklyn Dodgers nyuk nyuk

I imagine Pollard on the mound, sipping his Budweiser between pitches, ciggarette hanging off his lip...then....doing the fake Roger Daltry kicks between pitches.
