Fab Muscles is great! Don't believe the haterz!

Nic de Teardrop (Nicholas), Wednesday, 9 February 2005 01:57 (twenty-one years ago)

"Fabulous Muscles" is the best album of the year if you can ignore the facile lyrics to Support Our Troops In Iraq OH!.

La Monte (La Monte), Wednesday, 9 February 2005 01:59 (twenty-one years ago)

fabulous muscles should be listened to immediately.

cutty (mcutt), Wednesday, 9 February 2005 02:12 (twenty-one years ago)

Fabulous Muscles is admittedly the epitome of quirky and histrionic...once you realise that, then it's easier to get into.

Ian Riese-Moraine (Eastern Mantra), Wednesday, 9 February 2005 02:18 (twenty-one years ago)

Ian John50n (orion), Wednesday, 9 February 2005 02:33 (twenty-one years ago)

a lot of people hate Stratford 4, but i find it somewhat entertaining. particularly, the song "Telephone". come to think of it, listen to that one song and that should be enough.

jonviachicago, Wednesday, 9 February 2005 03:13 (twenty-one years ago)

You should listen to the Keith Jarrett followed by Vert's The Köln Concert. Better still, you should listen to Keith Jarrett's Köln Concert, followed by Vert's The Köln Concert.

mentalist (mentalist), Wednesday, 9 February 2005 03:21 (twenty-one years ago)

i really really like the earth is not a cold dead place its really really blank, in a good way, like a piece of paper a really empty space for projecting.

elwisty (elwisty), Wednesday, 9 February 2005 03:24 (twenty-one years ago)

Pinback "Summer in Abaddon" - girls like this when you pit this on while making out

charleston charge (chaki), Wednesday, 9 February 2005 03:26 (twenty-one years ago)

Stratford 4 have at least 3 worthwhile songs on that album

Kingfish MuffMiner 2049er (Kingfish), Wednesday, 9 February 2005 06:02 (twenty-one years ago)

I like The Bardo Pond and Boredoms tracks on ATP 1.0.

Good Dog, Wednesday, 9 February 2005 06:26 (twenty-one years ago)

I might buy the xiu xiu. Do they sound like helsabot often?

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Wednesday, 9 February 2005 06:50 (twenty-one years ago)

No, they sound like an industrial version of snow patrol, all the time.

The pinback album makes me feel strangely nervous. I think I like it but I can't really bear to listen to it as it makes me feel as if there's no point in doing so.

hmmm (hmmm), Wednesday, 9 February 2005 14:23 (twenty-one years ago)

"Fabulous Muscles" is the best album of the year if you can ignore the facile lyrics to Support Our Troops In Iraq OH!.

Fabulous Muscles is great. And I like "Support Out Troops" - I think the lyrics would be facile as a political argument, but I hear them more as an expression of raw feeling, part of the histrionics.

Mila, Wednesday, 9 February 2005 15:46 (twenty-one years ago)

I know someone who went to Iraq who fits the description of the soldier in "Support Our Troops OH!" PERFECTLY. It's not a political statement, it's him getting pissed off at probably some kid he knew from high school that he ran into who can't discern the difference between Shiva and the Red Crescent, knowing how Stewart is (all his tunes seem to be about histrionic tales of the life stories of the clerks at Wal-Mart and McDonald's and other chains who aspire to become this but are bogged down entirely).

Ian Riese-Moraine (Eastern Mantra), Wednesday, 9 February 2005 17:16 (twenty-one years ago)
