both have songs that deal with the tropics, with sexual loosening, with the ethical implications there in, with cheating, etc---but chesneys is a lost elegy to youth (which he seems obsessed with, havent his last few songs been about this) and kieths is a good old boy fuck anthem (which he seems obsessed with, havent the few songs that havent been about bombing been about this)--does it say anything at all about country music that there two bombshells appeared on the charts at the same time (and not only the country charts---chesney is no. 1 on the all genre bill board 200)

also, i am now sure i do not like keith, but i am starting to really admire the gentle swing and the skill of chesneys voice, its hard to explain but its really slow and its really low, and it seems to be less and less about silly novelty (compare his ballads to the awful mocking bird song that keith is butchering w. his daughter krystal)

so can we talk about this ?

three months pass...

now what? that toby keith has an elegy to lost youth, too? also i have to admit i really enjoyed it, and i liked the video, too. he gets beat up pretty badly and at the end he gets knocked-out, by a knockout.
