Check his tongue for skid marks.

I remember once in the early 90's when Bill Bellamy was a VJ on MTV, I was obsessed with his dubious claim that Steven Tyler of Aerosmith was "his boy".

"dude are you retarded?", back and forth, for fifteen minutes

I was going to ask if it was Jon Kelley, cuz I saw him "hangin'" with Usher on TV yesterday, but no, I just remembered he's on Extra (ft. Mark McGrath). (I'm amused whenever I see Kelley because he was a second-string sports anchor in Chicago in the early 1990s -- he broke the news that Bo Jackson signed with the Sox! -- and even then he was a peppy, smiling cheeseball, which I think is why he left, cuz Chicago likes its sports anchors schmoozy but also middle-aged and acerbic.)

xpost: Wait, Blount, are you sure it isn't EXTRA you're watching?

jaymc (jaymc), Monday, 14 February 2005 05:20 (twenty-one years ago)

haha turns out i am indeed watching EXTRA, you would think that icon reading "EXTRA" in the corner would gimme the hint

j blount (papa la bas), Monday, 14 February 2005 05:21 (twenty-one years ago)

IT IS JON KELLEY

j blount (papa la bas), Monday, 14 February 2005 05:22 (twenty-one years ago)

mcgrath: 'brian wilson told me why he has plenty of reasons to... smile'

McGrath looked vaguely uncomfortable when I was watching it; I don't know if he's usually like that or not.

jaymc (jaymc), Monday, 14 February 2005 05:29 (twenty-one years ago)

every time I've seen him on there he's looked vaguely uncomfortable. it's weird, he's kind of a charismatic guy who has a good sense of humor, but whenever he's talking on camera there's something strangely stiff about him.

Al (sitcom), Monday, 14 February 2005 06:19 (twenty-one years ago)

Was the interviewer Ahmad Rashad?

SalBass, Monday, 14 February 2005 06:21 (twenty-one years ago)

Al, I honestly don't know whether you're talking about McGrath or Brian Wilson.

I guess that explains why the interview came off so strangely.

MindInRewind (Barry Bruner), Monday, 14 February 2005 06:22 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm now referring to my man Usher as The New Godson.

briania (briania), Monday, 14 February 2005 06:23 (twenty-one years ago)

i'm surprised you're not talking about billy bush
