mississippi/petey pablo Vs crunk juice/trilville album

a feature of many crunk juice reviews was that it is music that must be played sparingly, dipped into only a couple of tracks at a time, a punishing end-to-end listen. this was a feature of many rock-mag reviews, but also of more hip-hop centric blog comments.

do you find it to be so? i somewhat agree - much though i enjoy the highlights on crunk juice and the lil jon-produced trillville album, it is hard to consume in larger doses.

do you find that crunk tracks sound fresher in the album context when thrown among ballads, r'n'bish tracks, g-funky tunes, poppier stuff etc as they were on the petey pablo and david banner albums (mississipi and still writing in my diary the 2nd entry)?
