I was just listening to "The Stallion Part 3" last night!! "You are not the one.. I am." Every bad Bowie song rolled into one.

"I do DECLARE...I can float in the AIR..." If I talked about how great Pure Guava was, we'd be here all day. In retrospect, isn't it fucking bizarre how "Push Th' Little Daisies" got regular MTV/radio rotation? How the hell did that happen?

LMLYP -- saw 'em do it at Jabberjaw in 1992. It was insane. That and the lyrics to "Alphabet Street" too, of course.

Oh yeah, and my sister charged the stage one time at an SF show during a performance of said song and got everyone shaking their groove thing. Rock.

I was just talking about them on another board and I'll be damned if my exact words weren't "They seem to always be ripping off Prince, Bowie and something else I can't put my finger on... I'm not sure if they take fragments of classic songs and change the notes and smoosh the parts together to make a new Ween song, but that's what it sounds like..." Also, I said something like: "When I thought they were funny, I used to always talk about how they were actually good musicians, but now that I don't find them funny, they're music seems to be seriously lacking. But, I still like Marble Tulip Juicy Tree. That guitar solo rips through it nicely."
