Good God Jennifer Tilly's voice is fantastic.

The Wall, particularly toward the end, from the reprise of "In the Flesh" through "Outside the Wall," is just nothing short of transcendant. "No, not me 'oney!" "Since, my friend, you have revealed your deepest fear, I sentence you to be exposed before your peers. Tear down the Wall!"

"Tear down the Wall!"

That song "Do You Dream at All" on their web site is good. I can't stand the K Records/Heather of Beat Happening voice archetype, though.

Whoops, that would be Jennifer, wouldn't it? Sorry.
Anyway I never noticed her bosom was so...ample...

Bound should have made the ILX Top 100 movies. Too bad the Wachowski boys had to go and make the Matrix.

milozauckerman (miloaukerman), Friday, 18 February 2005 05:19 (twenty years ago)

They'd've gotten away with it if it hadn't been for those pesky sequels.

Speedhump Bungle (noodle vague), Friday, 18 February 2005 05:22 (twenty years ago)

seriously, Let It Ride is one the funniest movies of all time! I've mentioned it on ILx before, but it doesn't seem to have much currency. It's totally excellent! You will laugh and laugh. Richard Dreyfuss! DAVID JOHANSEN! JENNIFER TILLY! Robbie Coltrane! Richard Edson!! Music by giorgio Moroder, even! you can't go wrong.
