did this come out after "lotta love"?

j blount (papa la bas), Monday, 21 February 2005 02:12 (twenty-one years ago)

sort of classic in a muted way.

the only Eagles tune I really like/can stand is "Take It to the Limit," but "I Can't Tell You Why" ain't terrible. Better being soulful than being cowboys, maybe.

edd s hurt (ddduncan), Monday, 21 February 2005 02:49 (twenty-one years ago)

aaaaaagh that song makes my brain hurt. dud. "one of these nights," now, there's a classic.

Zack Richardson (teenagequiet), Monday, 21 February 2005 02:58 (twenty-one years ago)

Ugh. Dud. I can tolerate 'WitchAY Woman', 'Heartache Tonight', even 'Hotel California'...this song just makes me think of the supermarket. (Uou can't tell me you haven't noticed this on high rotation at your local Safeway)

Oh and "Take It To The Limit" provokes me to acts of violence.

VegemiteGrrl (VegemiteGrrl), Monday, 21 February 2005 03:06 (twenty-one years ago)

actually "safeway cart" rips off a different eagles song!

j blount (papa la bas), Monday, 21 February 2005 03:48 (twenty-one years ago)

best eagles song (i'm aware of) by far

gabbneb (gabbneb), Monday, 21 February 2005 04:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Better being soulful than being cowboys, maybe.

exactly. less bullshit involved.

Used to despise this song with a passion known only to few people on our big blue marble, but must admit after twenty five years of seething hatred of all things Timothy B. Schmidt, I might be wrong on this one.

Love Will Keep Us Alive will always suck though,

It's the Eagles? Probably their best song, then. Still not classic, though.

Curt1s St3ph3ns, Monday, 21 February 2005 05:05 (twenty-one years ago)

I just want to have a bonfire of Eagles records, CD's and tapes. I plan to eradicate the entire planet of Eagles music forever. Don Henley solo is fine, but Eagles have got to go. We have had enough. We have been there and done that. GAME OVER. KAPUT. END OF STORY.

Bimble... (Bimble...), Monday, 21 February 2005 08:05 (twenty-one years ago)

the only thing of theirs I'd rescue from a burning building. it's an Al Green rip/homage, though, so it figures.

Matos-Webster Dictionary (M Matos), Monday, 21 February 2005 09:09 (twenty-one years ago)

haha "don henley solo is fine"
