Is this supposed to be in ILE by any chance?

Well, if what you are working for is the money to enable you to do whatever you would rather do, then yes.

It's the wit and wisdom of Mr Gallagher so, no, ILM is where it's supposed to be.

Zar, Tuesday, 22 February 2005 12:39 (twenty years ago)

Oh, I didn't recognise the lyric, I thought you were pissed off w/work or something.

gallagher - "wit", "wisdom".

Ah, maybe on a public message forum aint the best idea you know? It's basically a case of really, really, REALLY hating what you are currently doing and dying for an alternative but finding that the ideal alternative - whilst gaining in strength - is still something that may or may not happen. SO do you continue to chase your dreams or make do with what you have and live in a form of abject miserabilism? Is this too much info? I don't know. It's a difficult situation. I have nothing in common with the people I work with. I think the daily grind makes a lot of people alcholics. I don't like to hear people the same age as me talking about the challenge of detoxing for a week.

Is this the face of capitalism in all its horrid glory?

Alcohol is the botox in the unacceptable face of capitalism. DISCUSS

i find the world increasingly consists of people talking to themselves- to other people, but not interacting with them. just talking and waiting for the other guy to shut up so they can talk again. but thats just me.
