Think I might like them. What do I get first? Help a brother out.

'Love Can Damage Your Health'

I just listened to a bit of that and give it a thumbs up. Thanks, Steve.

also, "Smile" / "Yesterday was a lie" / "Breathe" all from the first album. that Jori Hulkkonen remix of "Breathe" is great too

i'm liking the new one more than I expected to. So far my favorite track is "Brighton Beach", but the whole thing is pretty nice in a downtempo/jazzy kinda way. this has been my beach listening lately. perfect for sitting in the sun watching the waves

"Breathe (Scratch Massive Attack on Breathe)"
"Breathe (Markus Nikolai's Think of S.D.C. Mix)"
"Love Can Damage Your Health (Herbert's Foolish Dub)"

New album Angel Milk out this week, apparently. Haven't heard anything about this release.

JoB - the "new one" i was referring to in my post is Angel Milk
it's much like the first one if you took out all the bad french hip hop / big beat excursions (Da Hoola) and left in the good, moody stuff like the singles (Breath, Love, Smile, Yesterday)

If you like the voice on tracks like "Breathe," you might as well just seek out Angela McCluskey's solo album, released late 2004, called "The Things We Do." The rest of the album doesn't quite measure up to the lead single, "It's been done," but it has its moments. And then there's the voice...

That Angela McCluskey single is a prime example of "it's the singer not the song", yes.

What's the music like on her solo album?

I took none of the advice here and ordered Genetic World.

you'll be sorry. you should've just bought the four singles mentioned instead. (everyone else made this mistake two years ago)

I really like it actually! I can't believe no one said Search: "Smile"! It's so fucking beautiful! I definitely thumbs-up the first five tracks, not sure on the rest yet.

"Angel Milk" seems good, especially the first track. Not sure if I like it as much as "Genetic World" -- signs point to no, but it is still nice.
