Harstyle or Jumpstyle. Been around since the early/mid nineties. Goes back to basics - Old School - but is more *fun*. DJ Ruthless is one the most wellknown guys making Jumpstyle. Some claim it's born in Belgium. Name has nothing to do with jumping but is derived from Jumper Records (a Belgian label).

go to dj-ruthless.com and listen to samples. it's the euro version of ghetto house. more like dj rush than gabber (ie it's slow)

i like that there's a track called "no brain style" on ruthless' latest mix.

i endorse this music, but the us does it better.

jumpstyle is not hardstyle.. that's for sure.

hardstyle is.. harder. jumpstyle is influencing hardstyle lately. and vice versa.
(i am just translating some google hits here)
