Statler and Waldorf, were my favorite Muppets and they certainly added a touch of comedy to the show, but in a Masonic setting our versions of Statler and Waldorf add very little humor. In fact their sole mission seems to be to cause division among the brethren. Like their hand puppet counterparts, their character traits are heckling, complaining and being cantankerous.
Often, but not always, they are Past Masters of the lodge who see fit to offer their opinion on all matters from floor work to the ritual itself. They are the ones who feel that they are better able to offer assistance when a brother gets stuck on a word than the Director of Ceremonies or official prompter. More often than not, their offering is incorrect and only adds confusion to the degree.
The Masonic Statler and Waldorf will be the first to criticize brethren for having private conversations during the business meeting or degree, but see no problem with engaging in like behavior themselves.
When a Brother gets up his ritual work and does it to near flawless delivery, the Masonic Statler and Waldorf will be the first to approach him after the meeting. But not to congratulate him on his performance, but rather to point out the one little error he made in wording or gesture.
They revel in the days of glory that were their year in the east and will criticize the sitting Worshipful Master, often behind his back, on the shortcomings of his year. In reality, the historical records will often show that the Masonic Statler and Waldorf were not so stellar in their role in King Solomon's Chair and as such have little room to critique their successors.

Microprose Soccer did have the uber-awesome US indoor option, and a quite sophisticated whistle noise for a Commodore 64. Original Sensi wasn't better than it. Sensi 2 though was. Sensible World of Soccer is still the best video game ever (other than Sid Meier's Pirates, obviously).

i would now say that PES4 probably just edges Sensi, although i admit that i sometimes get a frustrated urge to try to slide tackle/diving header for miles and knock the ball half the length of the pitch at a perfect right angle. and nothing was more satisfying than yanking back hard left on the joystick and sending a looping curler in from miles out.

yeah i must agree on KickOff, i loved the original when i was a kid, but it got too easy, whilst KickOff 2 seemed almost surreal in how hard the control was... Sensi was just damn perfect, i could execute brilliant 3-4 pass set-pieces, flinging the ball from defense to mid field, outside to the wings, then plowing in an after-touched beaut of a cross with pin-point accuracy... i love beating Man Utd with non-pro teams...

Some great moments ('World Leader Pretend', 'Imitation of Life'', 'Leaving New York', What's the Frequency Kenneth', and a new song called (I think) 'I Wanna DJ') but overall .... meh. Sorry.

Matthew, seriously, R.E.M. are my favorite band of all time, but your inability to find absolutely any fault with them is beginning to scare me.
