Best Internet Artist

Tom Ewing notes on his site that U2 was awarded the title "Best Internet Arist" tonight at the American Music Awards, and asks, rightly and eloquently, "What fresh nonsense is this?" I looked around U2's website for awhile, just to be a good sport, but I am forced to the conclusion that the AMA believes that we are presently suffering from a lack of ill-conceived and ill-given awards in music, and that what we need is an injection of Tzara-level meaninglessness to spice things up. My own new AMA category is Best Optimization of an Enhanced CD's Web Content for IE 4.0. Anybody else?
