Just won a SUPREME DICKS cd on eBay from some German geezer for the princely sum of 1 Euro + p&p. Unfortunately I forgot to read the payment terms first and it transpires that this guy doesnt take PayPal. Instead he says:

"Hallo Nick Vielen Dank für Dein Gebot und Herzlichen Glückwunsch zur gewonnenen Auktion! Bitte überweise den Endbetrag von 6 EURO Inkl. Porto/Versand auf das Kto.Nr.XXXXXXXX bei der Sparda-Bank Hannover eG (Bankleitzahl 2XXXX500) Iban.DE05 XXXX XXXX XXXX XXX BIC. GEN0DEFXXXX Unter Angabe der Art.-Nr."

Yikes! What the hell does this craziness mean? How the heck do I get this guy his money? Sorry to ask such a dumbass question but my German is not so hot anymore!

That account number looks totally phoney.

Hmmm, clear as crystal. I really have no idea how to go about doing that, now all of eBay will hate me for being a bad payer. The shame!

Also the dood is trying to scam me by saying that the UK needs international postage cos its not part of Europe. WTF? Buy one atlas!

Oh, yummy, wire transfers! I won an eBay auction from German once too and forgot to check the terms; again, he wanted a direct deposit into his account...easily enough done, but coming from North America there would have been something like a $50 transfer fee. In Europe you may be able to do a deposit into that account without that kind of wild fee, but you'd have to ask your bank. Ultimately I found someone I knew in Europe who made the transfer for me, so I got off without the massive surcharge (yay). Hopefully you'll be able to do the same if you can't transfer from UK to Germany without a massive fuckoff fee.

Well, if the guy leaves negative feedback, it'll just be in German that nobody understands, so you're off the hook!
