Where is the LOVE for Vicious Barreka?

Hailing from my green and unpleasant Lehigh Valley home around '88 or so, Vicious Barreka were a heavy metal band hailed by Kerrang! or some other big UK metal 'zine and, seemingly, no one else. One album -- "Outrage, Insanity and Profanity" -- poorly named, because it was an unusual blend of stiff metal with chanting vocals. About half the songs had Christian themes although the titles, save for "Heavenly Metal," didn't show it. The chanter/singer's favorite color was pink, so he always wore pink leather onstage. It was a choice that made the band a source of unintentional merriment. A lost treasure, much like Piltdown Man or the Cardiff Giant.

And is there potential for love of a Philly metal band from the same years, Black Task?

Sadly, there is no love for Vicious Barreka. Not even for the sake of Fu Manchu, the vocal stylings of VB possibly very much influencing that California stoner metal band.
