Anybody try the cd subscription service yourmusic.com?

6 dollars for a CD, free shipping. I really don't see a "catch" to this other than you have to order one cd per month. Maybe the selection is terrible. Anybody have any experience with it?

I have. It's cool. You fill up a queue like Netflix. The selection is the same you would have for Columbia House or whatever, so you kind of have to dig around to find the good stuff. I use it to flesh out my "back catalog" mostly. But there is no catch, and it's nice to get a cd in the mail that you forgot you ordered.

selection is same as BMG Music club, not Columbia House. not bad for jazz, Dylan, major label alt-rock and hiphop, etc. the system for managing the queue is annoying, though.

I was browsing around. The selection seems a bit shallow. I imagine there won't be any independent labels to be found.

The box sets are cheap, I'll say that.

It does seem worth it for the "back catalog" aspect of it. I guess there's nothing to lose.
