1. The show I saw was the guest list only show, and you could tell that the 5 previous shows in the entry had worn on the band a bit, and they were, after all, not in a situation where thay had to win anyone over.
2. According to the people I know that saw them do the unannounced Sage Francis opening slot at First Ave said that the Australia tour tightened them up quite a bit.
So, I'll be interested in what the reports from the field have to say. Personally, I'm just glad to see Nate from Helva making some well-deserved money...
