Plenty of parallels. Both gorgeous. I simply cannot choose.

I've never heard the Mylo one, but I really like EMAWIAS. Am I missing out?

absolutely. very comparable to every man and woman... IMO. no one else, though. has no one heard the ultramarine album, or is it too passe to talk about mylo?

i think i prefer the ultramarine album, less housey repetition, as far as i can remember..

What about United Kingdoms vs ? erm..

I would take "erm" over "United Kingdoms." That album was such a letdown after "EMAWIAS." They made up some ground with "Hymn" but it was never the same again.

agreed. it was a monumental step back. i couldn't sell united kingdoms for years after. i do want to give it another shot though. the whole robert wyatt thing went right past me at the time.

aside #1: i did see ultramarine put on what was a mindbending set at limelight during the 1992(?)... not cmj music marathon... the other one. what the hell was that thing called. damn memory. anyway, it was gorgeous.

aside #2: right now i love mylo's "need you tonite" more than anything else on the planet.
