Could you help me identify this song?

Okay, this is stupid, but the lyrics go something like:

... living with her so, let the good times roll, let the good times roll

I can't remember any of the other lyrics. The singer sings fast, and the band sounds like Thin Lizzy. It doesn't sound like a contemporary song.

It's definitely not The Cars, I know that song.

The singing is very fast, so fast the words are all muddled together. And I might have got the words wrong! In fact I probably did. This is a stupid question, I'm sorry. BUT it is a 'classic rock' song, one I've heard several times, so someone might know what I mean.

It's a kind of 'pub rock' song. It's not an American sound, to me.

Let the Good Times Roll by the Pooh Sticks, maybe? Not exactly classic rock, but fits the bill otherwise.
