Where is the LOVE for Girlschool?

C'mon, it's time for this one. All the Girlschool LPs are remastered and in southern California record stores, even "Play Dirty," which wasn't so hot but had a dynamite shot of one of the semi-homely bandmembers showing off her pantyhose in recline front and center. And the band played LA a couple months back and didn't even have a record to promote! And their 25th Anniversary CD wasn't even shitty and it had a song about shopping in London!?

i've got the first two girlschool albums, and i think i've expressed my love for them here already. but if not: i loves 'em.

The first two Girlschool albums have great density. The album with the cover of "Tiger Feet" is pretty good, too. The band had a great grooving rhythm section that knew how to do happy feet in heavy-sounding material.

that Motorhead/Girlschool "Please Don't Touch" song of theirs is great!
really catchy.

Covered "Bomber," too. And, I think, "Stand by Your Man" with Lemmy. Look up "Headgirl."

"Girlschool will be doing a co headlining tour with Vixen in the UK in June..."

Eh. I'd sooner see them support a release in the US or go around with Motorhead. Motorhead should resurrect -them- here, not Corrosion of Conformity.
