Moa "Universal" - what the hell happened?

Oh man..."Universal" should have been just that, but now Moa is a footnote to an afterthought. Is it a simple matter of Tommy Boy (in the U.S.) dropping the ball? Any fond Moa memories? And is she doing anything now?

Her Universal album was simply stunning! It is one of the top 5 cds I've ever bought....
i wonder what ever happened to moa....

she sounded like a more warped Louise Rhodes didn't she? i never got as far as the album but 'Joy & Pain' was a good single iirc. see also the somewhat more pedestrian Emiliana Torrini.
