Ok I haven't seen the movie in years, but the "use of music in films" thread reminded me of somthing that has bugged me since then. Buffalo Bill the serial killer is preening in the mirror as a trannie and "tucking it in"- there's some sort of icy synthy type of music playing- what is it?

it's either Alone by colin Newman or something else. I know that song plays in one of his scenes but I can't remember if it's this one.

Apparenlty this bugs lots of people. Wery interesting trivia about the singer- this really makes me want to get it ondisc. Mysterious history there. Person comes out of nowhere, makes one great song that sticks in lots of peoples minds and vanishes into thin air!

fifteen years pass...

so ...i've mentioned several times some of my theater friends, to try and do something acting related during COVID, have been carefully and safely shooting a Shakespearean version of Silence of the Lambs called The Rest is Silence since September, and I'm playing Buffalo Bill.

they just released this still shot from last night's shoot from the mirror scene.
