I like these guys! Their voices and artwork and lyrics are totally cute! Plus, all their songs are short! And they hardly have any! Just like funny hardcore bands in the old old old early '80s days! (So what's the deal, are they from Philly, or Princeton, or where?)

they're from outside of DC, i believe. their dad has some trace connection to the dischord scene. anyway, WPRB got hip to them because bill sent along the cd.

also, how can you not like kidcore?

would love to see the following battle:

eyeball skeleton vs. smoosh! vs. old skull vs. rock and roll camp for girls

maria tessa sciarrino (theoreticalgirl), Monday, 7 March 2005 19:02 (twenty years ago)

Also they are better than Old Skull! And *way* better than Smoosh! (Though not better than Red Cross.)

oops, xp, though i guess i said who would win the battle

By the way, am I the only person mean enough to admit that Smoosh kinda suck? (Then again, I never did like Throwing Muses or Bjork much, so why would I like little kids imitating them? Though I tried.)

i think you're the first person. im going to check them out at SXSW. i want to see it, to believe.

one more the the battle:

vs. paul green school of rock

maria tessa sciarrino (theoreticalgirl), Monday, 7 March 2005 19:09 (twenty years ago)

Hell, if you want you could also add that girl drummer or whatever in the Trachtenburg Family (who suck even more than Smoosh do.)

As for seeing Smoosh live (where they will obviously be cute -- how could they not be?), I think that's cheating. But what do I know?

their cuteness wont sway me!
