I love in the commercial for the original, when an awkward 10 year old slam dunks on a plastic basketball hoop that is actually shorter than he is and says "Kidz bop gets me PUMPED UP."

this is really artistically superior to the original. listen to the distant wailing distorto-guitars at 1:18 and the lonley kid-a blooping at 2:30! can you say 'emotional gravitas', kids? ! plus getting a number of children to sound resigned about their collective future always works (hello langley schools, hello kanye's "they don't know").
