well i know that Playlouder is a state51 production ..

but wasn't aware that Matador was .. (its not listed @ state51.co.uk)

so hence i never made any obvious techno-mess up that could have occured ..

so is this all part of a shaeup .. or just a techno cock up .. i emailed a couple of the PL gang .. and so far all is silent ..

but then if the techno-gubbins is messed up there could be no emails getting through ..

would be a shame to lose PL as i reckon its a fine place to keep up .. alongside ILM of course ..

FYI - the reason the Talk boards are down is because the vBulletin scripts were compromised last week (along with 1600 other sites), and our techies are going through the files with a fine-toothed comb to ensure nothing else was compromised, which isn't exactly a quick process. The matador site's php scripts reside on the same server, so as a temporary solution all php scripts were redirected to Matador's front page.
No need to worry, PlayLouder is here to stay.

We posted a news story about it the same day ( http://www.playlouder.com/news/+sorrydearreaders/ ), but I guess that's less interesting to read than amusing rumours. :)

yeah. takes a little geting used to.
the stash is pretty cool - so you can listen to anything that they have in their archive via their player.
though not overly keen on the concept of 'stalking', ie their alternative to having friends/buddies etc
.. but hey.
naturally, i have some invites if anyone interested.
