What's with his shoddily-designed Che Guevara shirt? Weak!

CLASSIC. My wife, who hates Jay-Z with a fiery passion, loved watching his Unplugged. Big ups for the only listenable version of "Big Pimpin'" I've ever heard.

Classic. Jay-z's charisma is heard throughout the cd. The Roots do a wonderful job laying down the beats and showed their musical diversity by busting out flute, strings, etc. Favorite part of the cd is during "H.O.V.A." where the Jay-z pauses after saying "Poof..." and the crown yells "Vamos son of a bitch!" Makes me giddy everytime i hear it.

classic. my favourite part is: jigga: "ask Nas, he don't want it with Hov..." crowd: "NOOOOOOO!" best piece of live hip hop ever. but che's t-shirt - whatdafuck ??!!

Jay's voice sounds a LOT better in the studio is what I thought. Which isn't saying a lot.

I thought it was a hella cool session, with all the random percussion and shit.

classic, no question. woulda been better if MTV had let them do more obscure album trax, as Jay and ?uest wanted to, but all the same, a great set, warts and all. i think the Roots really rose to the occasion to replicate the beats and add their own energy, instead of forcing their sound onto the songs, which i was afraid they might do. high points: Takeover, Ain't No Love, Jigga What, I Just Wanna Love U. downside: some of the Blueprint tracks sound tame by comparison now.
