the two pieces on panorama didn't particularly stick out at first, he's using many typical period 60's electronic sounds so they didn't make an immediate impression, but he does orchestrate them in interesting ways; very symphonic and varied arrangements if you listen closely, no slouch on the structures. 'week end' is pretty great.
would you recommend that 2 CD overview? it's expensive.
