TV's Minder Dead?
Television's Minder, Denis Waterman, is feared dead today after he trapped his head inside a piano.
Waterman was found by his cleaner at 6 am this morning with major head wounds.
"I called an ambulance immediately", she said.
"He was just slumped at the piano. There was blood everywhere, all over the carpet and some on the curtains. A little blood was on his shirt, but not that much."
Paramedics at the scene rushed him to hospital where he has remained in a critical position.
"Obviously we can't give too much away as it stands, but we are looking at major brain damage at the least."
Tributes have been pouring in to the television star, who had a Top 10 hit in 1983 with the theme tune to popular 80's television show, Minder.
"I don't know, if only we could change the situation," said a distraught fan. "I guess it's just a case of right people, right time, just the wrong location."
