Iron and Wine's "Woman King" EP is a return to form, beautiful and shouldn't we all be singing hosannas?

It's a BIG step up from "Endless Numbered Days" and could be one of my favorite albums of '05. Why no love?

i don't know.. the best track, Jezebel, could've been on Our Endless Numbered Days.. I really don't see a big reason for loving Woman King more than OEND. (it's rather more of the same really.. just to keep the fans pleased, waiting for the new album..)

Don't agree. I found OEND somewhat antiseptic and bland, whereas woman king seems really alive and jumpin'.

weird. i found this EP to be his worst yet. over produced. bland. adult contemporary. gone is the crackle and hiss and sadness that made his first album one of my favorites and so unique.
