I hate to even dignify this (with all due respect to mXeno), but this question reminds me a bit of an interview with Poison where drummer Rikki Rocket made a simillar comparison between his band the arguable forefathers of all things hard & heavy. To suggest that Creed's insufferably earnest, subtlety-intolerant, overblown shenanigans have even a shred of the credibility and innovation of Zeppelin is to laugh heartily and zealously in the face of logic.

I can recall David Yow of the Jesus Lizard saying the same thing about Bush in relation to Led Zeppelin.Remember Bush?In any case,Creed's output and their own minuscule music collections should be vaporised.

I've never heard Creed so I don't know. I guess that most bands I hear that I haven't heard before I like more than Led Zeppelin, so statistically speaking maybe I should give it to Creed, but in fairness I have to pass.

I live in Classic Rock Country and the Bible belt. I'm torn. Side with the rednecks or baptists, I think I'll go with the rednecks. Of course now that I think of it rednecks are baptists. Humm. I once borrowed my Dad's Led Zeppelin Greatest Hits CD I guess that means I'm with them. Creed sucks.

I don't consider myself a huge Zep fan but I can appreciate what they have contributed to Rock n Roll. Their influence is enormous. We shouldn't even put Creed and Zep in the same sentence. Creed is a very poor ripoff of Pearl Jam and hopefully 3 years from now we'll be saying, Creed who? 30 years later Zeps music is still heard and is still powerful and probably will be 30 years from now. I can almost guarantee that 30 years from now Creed's music will be out of print.

Robert Plant has the less irritating voice of the two groups, but I have never heard Creed fans praise Creed as frequently or irritatingly as the Zep fans do the Zep. Both supposed Satanism and straight-out Christianity are dull. Creed has ugly album covers. Creed always struck me as very high-faluting & full of themselves.

Led Zeppelin vs. Creed? There's no contest, damn it! Led Zeppelin are considered one of the greatest bands of all time, some will consider Led Zeppelin better than the Beatles, which Led Zeppelin are. But Creed better than Led Zeppelin? That's a fucking laugh! Creed are Bible beating dumb fucks who should be shot for saying they're better than Led Zeppelin.

Yes, Creed do have ugly album covers, and the name of their albums suck. Like "Human Clay" that's just queer. Sure, Led Zeppelin may have a small catalogue of albums and songs, but can Creed actually out do the mighty masters of heavy metal that wrote and performed the song "Stairway to Heaven."

For God's sake, the Beatles couldn't out do Led Zeppelin, the Beatles were breaking up when Led Zeppelin had released their debut album "Led Zeppelin". Fuck Creed, and fuck Creed's worthless, queer, Bible beating fans.

Creed's music will be out of print in 30 years! Bands like the Who, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, etc. etc. Their music will always be around!

Creed aren't better than Pearl Jam either, but than again Pearl Jam's biggest influence of all time was the Who.
