can anyone tell me anything about The Hang Ups?

the only thing i know about this band is that one of their songs ("Jump Start") is played during Chasing Amy, and has been in my head every time ive fallen in fake and/or real love for the past 4 years. should i order this album from amazon, or is it a waste of money?

i have an album of theirs from a few years ago entitled so we go which has the wonderful song "top of morning" on it plus a whole lot of decent but not quite as good paisley/powerpop songs.

the album i mention was their second one, "jump start" being from their first. definitely search "top of morning", the 7" should be easy to find if you don't want to spring for a whole elpee

Yeah, I had that cd and "Top of Morning" is the only song I remember.

they're mediocre although 'so we go' is almost really good. the singer or someone from the band produces some other quality bands including the new orange peels cd.
