So who would you love to see in a band together? And what from each of their back-catalogues would they play on stage? Here's mine:

Bass - JJ Burnel from The Stranglers
Lead Guitar - Lindsey Buckingham
Drums - Roger Taylor (Queen)
Keyboards - Ben Folds
Rhythm Guitar - Bob Dylan

The fact that all five of them sing means that I don't even need a frontman

Setlist:

Second Hand News - Fleetwood Mac
Annie Waits - Ben Folds
Changing Of The Guard - Bob Dylan
Hanging Around - Stranglers
Hammer To Fall - Queen
In The Garden - Dylan
Not The Same - Ben Folds
Down In The Sewer - The Stranglers
Never Going Back Again - Fleetwood Mac
Not Dark Yet - Dylan
Under Pressure - Queen
Narcolepsy - Ben Folds
What's The World Coming To? - Fleetwood Mac
Keep Yourself Alive - Queen
Duchess - Stranglers
Lily, Rosemary and The Jack Of Hearts - Dylan
Gone - Ben Folds
Big Love - Fleetwood Mac
Skin Deep - Stranglers
Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen (just to see the look on Dylan's face having to sing scaramouche scaramouche will you do the fandango)

Miki Berenyi - Vox
Emma Anderson - Vox
Kevin Shields - Gits / Vox
Page Hamilton - Gits (unless I'm allowed in the band)
Victor Villareal - Gits
Adi Vines - Bass
Ryan Rapsys - Drums
Dale Crover - Drums

I would love to hear this band. Playing loud as FUCK in a medium sized club with great sound. Rapsys playing some fucked-up jazz beat over one of those crazy slow Ozma-era drum patterns. Add the nice huge distorted bass sound from Swervedriver "Raise" and that thick-ass Helmet-like guitar crunch. Plus some great, driving lead-playing from Villareal all topped-off with that deep-as-fuck sounding Loveless guitar shimmer. Shields can also do a bit of singing so Miki and Emma have a male voice in the mix for lots of Lush and MBV-style vocal layering. Its all about layering with this band I suppose.
