TS: Rachel Goswell versus Rachel Brook

Something of a gauze rock sweepstakes. I'll take Slowdive over early Flying Saucer Attack--just barely--but I'll take Movietone over Mojave 3 any time at all. I'd say the second Movietone album, Day and Night, is the pick of the litter.

So--
Movietone (Day & Night only)
Slowdive
(early) Flying Saucer Attack
Mojave 3

(I still haven't heard Rachel Goswell's solo stuff)

Tell me I'm wrong.

Tough one. Unfortunaly, Rachel Goswell's solo record was pretty bad (with the exception of a couple of GREAT songs), so that counts strongly against her.

I've never heard "Day and Night", but I have the most recent two Movietone albums. "The Blossom Filled Streets" is a delicate little gem, although "The Sand and the Stars" showed that there is a fine line between delicate and boring.

I'll take Mojave 3 over Movietone (but it's a close one). Early FSA is great (as is late, post-RB FSA), but Slowdive are godlike.

So, Rachel Goswell wins.
