Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Saturday, 9 April 2005 02:19 (twenty years ago)

There's a tune on Acetone's "If You Only Knew" record where you can hear the singer's nose wheeze just a bit between lines in one part. Thats just something I caught one time and I'll never forget and I find it funny.

I think the singer sort of sounds like he has a stuffy head on that record anyway. I wish I still had that one now that I'm thinkin' bout it. I'd love to hear "99" or "In The Light" right about now.

Johnny Badlees (crispssssss), Saturday, 9 April 2005 03:24 (twenty years ago)

Stevie Wonder, "Golden Lady"

Joseph McCombs (Joseph McCombs), Saturday, 9 April 2005 03:42 (twenty years ago)

This is part of the reason I like Zooropa so much. esp. on "Daddy's Gonna Pay for Your Crashed Car" it's clear his head is full of snot.

willem (willem), Saturday, 9 April 2005 09:05 (twenty years ago)

The collected works of They Might Be Giants.

m coleman (lovebug starski), Saturday, 9 April 2005 10:06 (twenty years ago)

Anna (Anna), Saturday, 9 April 2005 10:51 (twenty years ago)

As soon as I saw the thread title I thought of LCD Soundsystem's album, or albub-uh. Please Mr Gravedigger by David Bowie is the only song I can think of that has sneezing in it, but that's just him being the actor.

Deluxe (Damian), Saturday, 9 April 2005 12:03 (twenty years ago)

Geir Hongro (GeirHong), Saturday, 9 April 2005 17:08 (twenty years ago)

The vocals in the British Sea Power song Carrion doesn't evoke a cold so much as lung cancer.

Jay Watts III (jaywatts), Saturday, 9 April 2005 20:42 (twenty years ago)

I was going to say, on "The First Time" from Zooropa, Bono sounds like his sinuses are full of goo.

EVERY SONG by the Sundays

Say what? Harriet Wheeler has one of the least nasal voices ever. If that's how you sound when you're congested, my hat's off to you and your amazing adenoids.

Deric W. Haircare (Deric W. Haircare), Sunday, 10 April 2005 21:04 (twenty years ago)

Most Green Day songs, but especially "Basket Case."

My name is Kenny (My name is Kenny), Sunday, 10 April 2005 21:08 (twenty years ago)

Don't the Beatles have a few of these? "Don't Bother Me"? "I'm So Tired" maybe?

Ken L (Ken L), Sunday, 10 April 2005 21:12 (twenty years ago)

Certainly "Do You Want To Have a Secret". George Harrison often had a tendency later too.
