My band had the honour of playing up in Sheffield with these guys a couple of years ago. Fantastic people and I'm so pleased that they've finally got a record out.

Anyone heard this? What do you think? Sounds a bit like M83 or Godspeed You Black Emperor! but with more IDM loops and all rather good!

They are touring their asses off I know that much so respect for that.

Downloaded something a while ago, seemed pretty much reductive to the formula I heard them described as: Rock, with Squarepusher beats.

It didn't totally convince me, but I'm not going to write them off yet.

They're a fantastic live band.

And it's great that they're finally getting somewhere. When I first saw them back in 2002, I wouldn't have though that of all the bands I saw then, they would be the ones that would be doing well today. (They used to be a much more drum machine & sampler) driven 3 piece. I guess it's all down to how much they gig. I'm going to see them on Friday, and I think that'll be the 4th time in about 8 months.

pretty good record but sadly overlooked last year. props to them, hope they're staying around for a while
