Songs that sound as if they were recorded outside in the country...?

Not with sampled sheep noises. Not ambient pieces. Not songs that make you think of being outside.

Actual songs were it sounds as if the band could have feasibly set up their equipment in a field or a forest and recorded it then and there, where there are tangible and (as far as possible uncontrived) sounds of nature.

I'm thinking Twiligh by Verve, North Hanging Rock on the new British Sea Power album, Needles In My Eyes by The Beta Band.

Anymore for anymore?

Michelle Shocked, The Texas Campfire Tape

Led Zep's "Black Country Woman" and Captain Beefheart's "Hair Pie: Bake One" come to mind also.

four years pass...

Bump.

One of last year's Final Fantasy EPs was recorded outside. There absolutely has to be better answers to this than "some bluegrass, probably". Who are Heron? Califone must've recorded something outside.

Allmusic tells me that Heron are 70s London folkrock.
