I once shot a Phill Collins' In the Air Tonight 7" single with an air rifle. I don't have photographic evidence though.

A friend of mine did the same with a copy of the Dead's Shakedown Street. He then stuffed firecrackers in the holes made by the bullets (a nice touch), and lit them. He then tossed it on the grill for a few moments (replete with a rousing lighter fluid dousing). He let it cool off....and then slid it back in his collection. I laughed for days.
